Data we collect and legal basis
- Name, email address and phone number when you submit a contact form or book a call. Legal basis: performance of a contract, or pre-contractual measures, under GDPR Article 6.1(b).
- Technical data such as IP address and browser information via analytics tools. Legal basis: legitimate interest in understanding and improving the website, under Article 6.1(f). Where this occurs via cookies requiring consent, the legal basis is instead consent under Article 6.1(a).
Purpose
We process personal data to respond to inquiries, send proposals, and fulfill agreements. We never send marketing communications without your consent.
Third-party services we use
- Stripe: payments, PCI DSS certified. stripe.com/privacy
- Scrive: digital signatures. scrive.com/privacy
- Resend: transactional email.
- Google Analytics and Microsoft Clarity: anonymized traffic analysis, activated only with consent where required.
- Supabase: data storage on EU-based servers.
International data transfers
Google Analytics and Microsoft Clarity are US-based services. Personal data may therefore be transferred to the US. This transfer relies on the EU-US Data Privacy Framework (adequacy decision by the European Commission, July 2023) where the provider is certified, or otherwise on the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs).
How long we keep data
Customer data is retained while the business relationship is active and for up to 7 years thereafter, in line with Swedish accounting law. Contact form data that does not result in an agreement is deleted after 12 months.
Your rights
You have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal data. Contact hej@shorelinetechstudio.se and we will respond within 30 days. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Swedish Authority for Privacy Protection (IMY) at imy.se, or with the relevant supervisory authority in your own country where applicable.
